Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
Develop innovative, revenue‑generating marketing programs for automotive clients across print, digital, video, social, native and experiential platforms
Partner closely with the sales team to understand client objectives and craft strategic solutions that move their business forward
Lead RFP responses and proactive pitches for Hearst Autos brands (Car and Driver, Road & Track, Autoweek) and the Hearst Autos In‑Market network
Collaborate cross‑functionally with creative, strategy & insights, design, ad product, publisher teams, Hearst Made and revenue operations to bring proposals to life
Create compelling marketing materials including one‑sheets, decks and storytelling assets that clearly communicate value and differentiation
Develop cross‑portfolio opportunities in partnership with other Hearst brands including Esquire, ELLE, Delish, House Beautiful, Men’s Health and more
Leverage insights, analytics and industry research to craft persuasive marketing narratives aligned with client KPIs
Stay deeply connected to automotive industry trends, agency dynamics and client strategies to proactively identify new opportunities
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
5+ years of experience in digital media, marketing or advertising
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or a related field
Strong understanding of automotive marketing, agency environments and experiential programs (preferred but not required)
Proven ability to develop strategic, client‑focused solutions that drive revenue growth
Experience building cross‑platform programs across digital, print, video, social and live experiences
Digital media fluency including behavioral targeting, native advertising, programmatic and data‑driven solutions
Understanding of digital metrics and measurement tools (e.g., comScore, Google stack, social analytics, IAB/MRC standards)
Ability to navigate media planning and client approval processes
Strong proposal writing, presentation and storytelling skills with the confidence to lead discussions of all sizes
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a solutions‑oriented approach
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
This role is based in New York City and requires a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office

The base salary for this role is between $88,000 - $106,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
