Role Description As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), part of Field Medical Affairs, you will serve as a field‑based scientific and clinical expert responsible for engaging key external stakeholders in Uro‑Oncology. The MSL will build trusted partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key External Experts (KEEs), academic and community institutions, and healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information, gather insights, and support the safe and appropriate use of enGene therapies.
Geography This position covers the West Geography which includes: WA, OR, ID, CA, NV, UT, AZ, AK, HI. Candidates must live within this geography to be considered.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Participates in the management of clinical trials. Supports site initiation and enrollment activities, acts as a resource for area healthcare professionals within the surrounding trial site community
Identifies and maintains a list of relevant medical/therapeutic area professionals, investigator targets and associated plans of action
Collaborates with Clinical Operations & Development and other trial staff to implement plans and strategies
Assists with management of clinical data to ensure rapid and accurate communication of scientific/clinical results supporting abstract, poster, presentation, and manuscript development
Establishing scientific relationships with investigators and Medical Affairs, supporting investigator‑initiated study (IIS) programs
Performs disease education with identified practitioners, payers, and researchers
Attends medical conferences and congresses to collect and report relevant, scientific, clinical, & competitive intelligence
Required Skills
Enjoy working independently in the field while having an impact on the company’s mission
Passionate about developing knowledge of and translating clinical scientific data into meaningful dialogue
Like working corroboratively and developing relationships in academic and clinical practice settings
Have the highly developed ability to balance and prioritize multiple initiatives and excel while implementing them independently
Frequent travel including overnights (50-70%)
Exceptional scientific acumen and communication skills
Strong relationship‑building and emotional intelligence
High level of integrity and compliance awareness
Required Experience And Qualifications
To be considered for this, a Clinical/Science Degree is required (PharmD, PhD, NP/PA, MSN)
A minimum of 3 years related work experience in Urology or Oncology as a Field Medical Affairs representative or Medical Science Liaison required
This position covers the West Geography which includes the following states: WA, OR, ID, CA, NV, UT, AZ, AK, HI

Compensation Salary: The salary range for this role is $190,000 to $215,000. The base salary range provided represents a good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience and education.
