Position Status Contract
Pay Rate Up to $18/hour + $0.60/mile mileage reimbursement (between client locations)
Position Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Merchandiser
to support retail beverage accounts across Redmond, Sunriver, Sisters, and Prineville, OR. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, driving between locations, and creating visually compelling in‑store displays.
As a
Merchandiser , you will play a critical role in
retail execution, inventory management, product stocking, and customer engagement . You will ensure shelves and cold boxes are fully stocked, products are properly rotated, and point‑of‑sale (POS) displays align with planograms and brand standards.
This opportunity offers valuable experience in
retail merchandising, sales support, beverage distribution, and account service , with exposure to multiple store locations daily.
Schedule 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday–Friday and Sunday (schedule may vary based on business needs)
Key Responsibilities
Travel between assigned retail locations using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed between accounts)
Stock, rotate, and merchandise beverage products to ensure optimal shelf presence
Reset shelves, coolers, and build floor displays using planograms and schematics
Install and maintain POS signage and promotional materials
Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport product from backroom to sales floor
Maintain organized and safe back‑stock areas
Partner with store managers and sales representatives to optimize product placement
Service 5–8 accounts per day depending on territory
Submit weekly timecards via mobile or desktop system
Provide professional customer interaction and uphold brand standards
Required Skills/Education
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance
Clean motor vehicle record (no DUIs)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
Strong time management and ability to work independently
Comfortable working in retail environments, including occasional cold storage areas
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of merchandising, retail, grocery, or stocking experience
Experience with planograms, shelf resets, or retail displays
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills

Professional dress code: Khakis, polo shirt, and closed‑toe, non‑slip shoes
Contractors are paid hourly while working onsite at assigned customer locations
Time begins upon arrival at the first assigned store (not from home)
