Job Details Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary Senior Director to lead our Enterprise Data & AI Enablement organization, reporting directly to the VP of AI and Data. This executive-level position will drive the strategic roadmap for data and AI capabilities across the enterprise, with deep focus on building robust data foundations that enable advanced AI applications. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate extensively with AI leadership, and partner with senior executives to influence enterprise-wide data and AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision

Define and execute comprehensive data and AI enablement roadmaps in partnership with VP of AI and Data

Drive enterprise data strategy that supports both traditional analytics and advanced AI/ML initiatives

Collaborate with C-suite and senior leadership to align data capabilities with business objectives

Influence organizational strategy through data-driven insights and AI readiness assessments

Data Foundation & Architecture Excellence

Data Strategy & Architecture: Define foundational data platforms, technologies, and reference architecture that scale across enterprise applications

Core Data Solutions: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and lifecycle management of critical enterprise data including Customer, Supplier, Item/BOM, Finance, and Reference data

Data Ingestion & Engineering: Oversee robust data movement capabilities (ETL/ELT), real‑time streaming, and pipeline reliability at enterprise scale

AI-Ready Data Capabilities

AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement: Provide cutting‑edge tooling, environments, and expertise for predictive modeling and advanced AI applications

Knowledge Products Development: Lead creation of semantic layers, unifying ontologies, and hierarchical Master Control Programs (MCPs)

Structured & Unstructured Data Integration: Enable AI accessibility across diverse data types and formats

Data Foundation & BI Enablement: Design optimized data models and warehousing/lake house environments supporting both traditional BI and AI workloads

Quality, Governance & Enablement

Data Quality & Readiness: Drive comprehensive data governance, quality frameworks, and conversion strategies ensuring trusted, compliant data assets

Data Literacy: Champion organization‑wide data literacy initiatives to accelerate transformation and unlock business value

Technical Expertise

Proven experience with large‑scale data platforms and enterprise application integration

Deep expertise in enterprise applications including Salesforce, Workday, ERP systems

Hands‑on experience with ECC to S/4HANA upgrades and enterprise transformation projects

Strong background in data architecture, warehousing, and modern lakehouse technologies

Experience building AI‑ready data foundations including semantic layers and knowledge graphs

Leadership & Strategy

Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise‑wide data strategy and influence senior leadership

Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing data teams

Experience partnering with AI/ML teams to enable advanced analytics capabilities

Strong background in data governance, quality management, and regulatory compliance

Business Acumen

Experience working with large enterprise applications and complex integration scenarios

Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions

Track record of driving automation, reliability, and operational excellence

Experience managing multi‑million dollar budgets and complex vendor relationships

Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

12 years of progressive data leadership experience with 5 years in executive roles

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience with modern data stack technologies and cloud platforms

Background in AI/ML model deployment and MLOps practices

Experience in regulated industries with complex compliance requirements

Annual Salary Range US: $220,320.00 - $363,860.00 USD

Work Model for this Role This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on‑site at their assigned Intel site and off‑site. Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
