Founding Go-To-Market Lead ($100,000–$140,000 + Equity) at Marloo
Jack & Jill, San Francisco, CA, United States
Job Title
Founding Go-To-Market Lead
Company Description
Marloo - Blackbird-backed AI platform for financial advisers
Job Description
As the first US hire, you will spearhead Marloo’s expansion into the American market. Reporting to the founders, you will define the go-to-market strategy, build high-trust relationships within the RIA and broker‑dealer ecosystems, and transform early prospects into loyal customers. This is a founding‑level opportunity to scale a proven AI‑native system of record.
Location
San Francisco, NYC, or Austin, USA
Why this role is remarkable
Founding-level impact as the first US employee, with the autonomy to write the expansion playbook from scratch for a product already proven in three international markets. Backed by Blackbird Ventures with $2.7M raised, you’ll join a mission‑driven team founded by industry veterans who personally experienced the administrative pain they are now solving. Significant equity upside and the chance to shape the trajectory of a hyper‑specialized AI assistant in one of the world’s largest financial services markets.
What you will do
Own the end‑to‑end US GTM strategy, from identifying ideal customer profiles and running cold outreach to conducting technical demos and closing early accounts. Act as the primary feedback loop between US advisers and the product team, ensuring features and compliance outputs are perfectly localized for the American regulatory landscape. Represent Marloo as a thought leader at major industry conferences and within professional communities to build a robust referral network and brand presence.
The ideal candidate
3–6 years of experience within the US financial advice industry, specifically as an adviser, paraplanner, or in a client‑facing role at a wealth management or FinTech firm. Deep familiarity with the US regulatory environment and common wealth tech stacks like Orion, Redtail, or Wealthbox, enabling high‑credibility conversations with stakeholders. A self‑starting "builder" mindset with a track record of operating in ambiguous environments and a genuine passion for using AI to automate manual workflows.
