You Are A Salesforce Functional Delivery Lead in Life Sciences, with proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills. You thrive in a team setting and are comfortable in an information systems environment.
The Work
Lead Salesforce.com implementation engagement and provide engagement leadership: assess performance, risks, issues, impact on solution and service delivery, and client relationships.
Own the development of a plan to review and manage client expectations throughout delivery and ensure the values delivered match client expectations.
Create an integrated project plan from individual project plans, illustrating high‑level flow of milestones and dependencies across projects; use it to rebalance work and manage variances.
Lead business and functional requirement definition, prioritization, and scoping.
Monitor and control the quality management process, manage expectations, conduct milestone reviews, and manage process performance along with continuous improvement and causal analysis.
Monitor all issues affecting the team, project, or program and potential risks.
Manage program/project financials, resource strategy, and contingency.
Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
Build and maintain high‑performance teams.
Support pre‑sales activities, including participation in sales calls and proposal development.
Travel may be required.
The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
Here’s What You Need
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a Salesforce Delivery/Functional lead role (Project Management, Business Analysis, and technology implementation in full life‑cycle Cloud/CRM engagements).
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams.
Experience supporting Life Sciences clients or the Life Sciences industry.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If an associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
Bonus Points If
You have experience with AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, generative AI) and understand how AI can be applied to Life Sciences commercial solutions.
You have experience creating connective tissue across workstreams (functional, technical, integration, data), anticipating downstream dependencies, and proactively planning to keep delivery on track.
You have demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑technology transformation programs with parallel platforms (e.g., CRM, data, integration, change management).
You have familiarity with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, or equivalent pharma/biotech CRM platforms and understand how these clouds support commercial and patient‑facing use cases.
You have experience delivering projects using Agile, hybrid, or scaled Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and can adapt delivery methodology to client context.
You can adapt to a dynamic work environment and are creative within a team.
You are customer‑oriented and great at building client relationships.
You have a strong background in cloud computing solutions, including systems design, integration, implementation, and management.
You have experience leading an Application Functional team (Configuration, customization, Force.com development) or an Application Integration team (data integration, data modeling).
You have consulting experience with medium‑to‑large consulting firms focusing on cloud computing consulting (solution architecture, storage, SaaS, multi‑tenant computing, large‑scale computing environments).
You have experience managing multi‑shore projects.
You hold PMP or other project management certification (preferred).
You hold Salesforce.com and other cloud platform certifications.
You have executive‑level sales support experience in consulting/professional services.
