
Divisional Sales Manager - West

My client is a leading manufacturer in the Window & Door industry. We are looking for a Divisional Sales Manager to cover the West. People can live anywhere from Texas to the West Coast and will travel accordingly. Your responsibilities encompass managing Regional Sales Managers, Technical Sales and Account Managers (Regional Sales Team) for associated territory by providing leadership, supervision, guidance, and direction. A person must have strong industry experience in the Window or Door industry. They are offering a competitive salary, bonus opportunity, car, full expenses paid, medical benefits, 401k.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall Management and Owner of Customer Relationship
Manages Sales Forecast, Capital Expense Forecast and Personnel planning
Provides plan for achieving Sales Forecast
Maintains a list of Prospects for Territory
Develop customer contracts for approval of VP of Sales
Review, analyze, and manage gross margin by account and product
Provide analysis on market and product trends within territory
Ensure compliance and maintenance of CRM database and input all key customer interactions and relevant field exchanges into CRM and ensure sales team are updating CRM regularly
Maintain and enforce contract terms and conditions
Assist Accounts Receivable/Credit Team as deemed necessary by CFO/VP of Sales
Participate in Strategic Planning
All other miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned
Product Management
Support the Product Manager to analyze and determine product offering within territory
Support the Product Manager and Operations to develop market leading Value Add Services to customers
Support discussion on inventory and product obsolescence as driven by Product Management and S&OP team.
Operational Input
Define Strategic Customer Partners
Suggest lead time requirements based on market and customer reality
Ability to operate and accomplish tasks in a cross functional environment
Skills
Supervisory and leadership experience
Budget development and KPI measurements
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management internally and externally
Ability to work in a fast changing and cross functional environment independently or collaboratively
Accountability for team of sales professionals
Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, public speaking skills, presentation and team building skills
Proven track record of ability to handle multiple priorities, results driven and self-motivated
Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Must possess sound business judgment, decisiveness, and possess the ability to delegate when necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Willingness to travel overnight, anticipated travel requirement 25-50%
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
