We are looking for a passionate sales professional to join our team as a Senior Growth Manager focused on carbon credit sales.
You will be responsible for securing advanced market carbon credit offtake commitments for Cultivo’s rapidly expanding pipeline of nature based land regeneration projects with a primary focus on grasslands/rangelands in North America. The projects are designed to the highest quality, a feature being equitable benefit sharing, delivering social impact, biodiversity and water net gain and sequestering carbon. You will bring a global network of relationships with sustainability professionals and corporations.

Requirements What You'll Be Doing Business Development & Sales
Contribute and own a significant part of the revenue goals related to Carbon credit sales - nature based removal and avoided conversion of Grasslands
Develop and manage a pipeline of corporations and potential buyers interested in buying carbon credits
Secure forward and spot carbon credit sale agreements
Package commercial offers, RFP submissions and solutions to meet customer needs
Develop assets (presentations, pitches) to support business development
Co-ordinate buyer diligence processes, working with a cross-functional team
Negotiate and close sales
Build strong and long term relationships with customers and across industry
Represent Cultivo externally in a professional and positive manner
Demonstrate leadership in sales discipline, use of CRM, pipeline management and reporting of performance
Monitor customer satisfaction over time and provide input to innovate and adapt sales strategies and offers based on market feedback and customer demand
Contract Management & Compliance
Manage contract process, partnering with legal and corporate counterparties
Comply with sales and legal processes, contractual commitments and operate with the highest levels of integrity
What you’ll need
5+ years business to business sales experience including carbon credit sales to corporations and over the counter (OTC) and complex deals
Extensive Corporate network with Sustainability leaders
Track record of delivery against targets and revenue/sales growth
Outstanding relationship management skills
International experience - comfortable working across geographies and cultures
Relevant undergraduate Degree or higher qualification
Knowledge of nature based carbon removal projects and soil organic carbon Grasslands/Rangelands a distinct advantage
Understand voluntary and compliance carbon market trends, regulations, standards and methodologies
Ability to balance attention to detail with working at pace
Ability to work across multiple projects with good time management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language, Spanish language an advantage
Purpose driven mindset - passionate about environmental and social impact
Flexible approach, comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity
Strong interpersonal skills, to be effective with a remote and diverse team
Highly motivated self-starter who takes full ownership and can work independently while in a team environment

Benefits What we offer Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on location, background and experience, plus equity options and annual bonus.
