The Role We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who understands the difference between a performance marketing agency and a generic “digital marketing shop.” You know what ROAS, CPA, and attribution modeling mean — and you can explain why they matter to a VP of Marketing who’s tired of vanity metrics.
This is a hybrid inbound/warm outbound role. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to convert inbound leads, nurture warm prospects, and build relationships face-to-face in the Orlando business community. The right person is equal parts consultative seller, relationship builder, and data-informed closer.
What You’ll Do
Qualify and convert inbound leads generated by Chatter Buzz’s own marketing engine (paid, organic, referrals)
Execute warm outbound sequences to prospects who’ve engaged with our content, attended webinars, or been referred
Manage and prioritize your pipeline in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) with disciplined follow-up cadences
Collaborate daily with the marketing team to refine lead scoring, messaging, and campaign targeting so the right prospects are coming in the door
LinkedIn & AI-Powered Prospecting
Build and maintain a strong personal brand on LinkedIn that positions you (and Chatter Buzz) as a thought leader in performance marketing
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator for targeted prospecting of mid-market B2B decision-makers (VPs of Marketing, CMOs, Heads of Growth)
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Apollo, etc.) for personalized outreach copy, prospect research, content creation, and sequence optimization
Test and iterate on outreach messaging using data — open rates, reply rates, and booked-meeting conversion
Local Relationship Building (Orlando)
Represent Chatter Buzz at local networking events, business meetups, chamber of commerce gatherings, and industry conferences in the Orlando area
Build and nurture in‑person relationships with prospects, partners, and referral sources
Identify co‑marketing and partnership opportunities with complementary local businesses
Host or co‑host small events, lunch‑and‑learns, or workshops to generate qualified pipeline
Provide frontline market feedback to the marketing team on prospect pain points, objections, and competitive intelligence
Collaborate on content ideas for case studies, blog posts, and social media based on sales conversations
Work with marketing to ensure lead nurture sequences, retargeting, and email flows are aligned with what actually converts
Participate in weekly sales‑marketing alignment meetings to review pipeline quality and campaign performance
Who You Are
5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account management — ideally at or selling to marketing agencies, SaaS companies, or professional services firms
You understand performance marketing: you can talk intelligently about paid media, conversion funnels, attribution, and why a client’s cost‑per‑lead matters more than their follower count
Proficient with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) — you keep your pipeline clean, your notes current, and your follow‑ups on time
Active and strategic LinkedIn user with experience using Sales Navigator for prospecting
Comfortable using AI tools for content creation, research, and prospecting workflow automation — you see AI as a multiplier, not a gimmick
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal — you can hold your own in a room with a CMO and follow up with a sharp, personalized email
Genuinely enthusiastic, positive, and resilient — you bring energy to the team and don’t take rejection personally
Based in or willing to relocate to the Orlando, FL metro area — in‑person relationship building is core to this role
Nice to Have
Experience selling performance marketing, paid media, or demand generation services specifically
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
Existing network in the Orlando B2B community
Experience with ABM (Account‑Based Marketing) strategies
