Senior Performance Creative Strategist (Design + Paid Social)

Sweetflexx, Austin, TX, United States

We’re looking for a performance creative marketer who thinks like a marketer first—someone who understands why ads work and how customers think, not just how to make them—and loves turning that thinking into high‑performing creative.

If you’re energized by testing new ideas, finding winning angles, and turning insights into high‑performing creatives, you’ll feel right at home here.

About Sweetflexx Sweetflexx was built on a simple insight: most women don’t lack motivation—they lack time.

Our solution: leggings with built-in resistance bands, allowing customers to “Wear Their Gym.”

We’re a fast‑growing DTC brand, and performance creative is one of our biggest growth drivers.

About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Performance Creative Strategist who can both conceptualize and design high‑converting ads.

This is a highly impact‑driven role where you’ll own the full creative process—from ideation to execution to iteration—working directly with performance data to continuously improve results.

Your Mission Create scroll‑stopping, conversion‑driven ad creative that turns attention into revenue.

What You’ll Do

Develop creative concepts, hooks, and angles for paid social ads based on critical thinking and marketing strategy

Create ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Axon, and other platforms

Rapidly iterate on creatives based on performance data and clear hypotheses

Analyze winning ads and continuously improve creative output by identifying patterns and underlying drivers of performance

Collaborate with internal and external teams to test new ideas, offers, and messaging

Stay on top of trends, formats, and what’s working in DTC advertising

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in performance creative (DTC or agency)

Proven track record of creating ads that drive conversions and revenue

Strong marketing intuition and critical thinking skills—you can break down why an ad works and apply those insights to new concepts

Strong portfolio of paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, etc.)

Ability to think in hooks, angles, and direct‑response frameworks

Understanding of conversion‑focused design and marketing psychology

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Copywriting skills (especially for hooks and headlines)

Experience with UGC‑style ads or video concepts

Motion graphics or light video editing skills

Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., for ideation, creative generation, or workflow acceleration)

Background in fashion, wellness, or fitness

Who You’ll Thrive As

Someone who cares about performance just as much as aesthetics

Someone who thinks like a marketer—not just a designer—and enjoys solving problems through creative strategy

A self‑starter who takes ownership and continuously looks for ways to improve results

What We Offer

Full‑time hybrid position

Long‑term opportunity with a fast‑growing DTC brand

Competitive salary based on experience

Ongoing learning and development—you’ll regularly connect with leaders at fast‑growing e‑commerce companies to sharpen your skills
