Description

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and penetrate target markets.

Lead, coach, and develop sales managers, key account managers, and individual contributors to ensure high performance and accountability.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (funnel size, close rates, productivity, velocity) to drive results.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in core and adjacent markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and internal stakeholders.

Partner with engineering, product development, and marketing to align offerings with customer needs and industry trends.

Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and post‑sale support.

Collaborate on pricing strategies, margin targets, and contract terms to meet company objectives.

Analyze market dynamics, customer data, and competitor activity to guide decision‑making.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry associations.

Drive initiatives to enhance sales processes and team performance.

Oversee order entry and ensure production forecasts are met.

Profile

7+ years in capital equipment sales and sales management, ideally within metal fabrication or related industries. Must have managed managers, not just sales representatives.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, customer orientation, and analytical ability. Familiarity with CRM and e‑business tools.

Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

Up to 50% travel for trade shows and customer visits.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $180,000 on base (bonus is additional).
