Job Description and Duties Return Analysis Section (RAS) work is production oriented and competitive. As a Business Taxes Representative (BTR) you will:

Analyze tax returns.

Review taxpayer correspondence and correspond with taxpayers and team members.

Establish liabilities for additional tax, interest, and penalties.

Perform return and payment maintenance.

Process relief from penalty cases.

Answer customer service calls.

Issue refunds.

Your analytical skills will be challenged and strengthened through the interpretation and application of tax laws, regulations, and annotations to ensure compliance from taxpayers.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum education requirements as listed for classification (attend educational verification if foreign qualifications).

Must be available to work until 5:00 pm.

Travel may be required up to 10 % of the time.

Must be fingerprinted and pass a background investigation.

Employer participates in E‑Verify and will conduct Form I‑9 verification.

Individuals with a 4‑year college degree may start at the C pay range.
