As a Product Designer on the Growth team at 8am, you will help shape how new and existing customers discover value, adopt core capabilities, and expand their use of our platform. This role focuses on designing experiences that directly support customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and revenue growth within a complex B2B fintech product.

You will take ownership of growth‑focused initiatives such as first‑time use, onboarding flows, feature discovery, in‑product education, and upsell experiences. Working in close partnership with Product Managers, Engineers, and a Senior Product Designer, you will help translate growth strategy into thoughtful, user‑centered solutions that balance business impact with clarity and usability.

This role is well suited for a designer who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, enjoys connecting user needs to business outcomes, and has experience designing for growth within complex, professional products.

What you’ll do: Design for Growth and Customer Outcomes

Partner Deeply with Product and Engineering

Work closely with Product Managers to frame problems, explore solutions, and align design decisions with growth and business goals.

Collaborate with Engineers throughout the design and development process, providing clear intent, flows, and interaction details to support high‑quality implementation.

Partner with a Senior Product Designer to align on approach, receive feedback, and elevate craft while maintaining ownership of your work.

Contribute meaningfully to cross‑functional discussions, trade‑offs, and prioritization.

Understand and Advocate for Professional Users

Develop a strong understanding of professional users, their motivations, and their workflows within a B2B or B2B2C context.

Use research inputs, customer feedback, and product data to inform design decisions.

Design experiences that are intuitive, trustworthy, and respectful of users’ time in high‑stakes, workflow‑driven environments.

Execute with Quality and Ownership

Produce high‑quality design deliverables across the lifecycle, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.

Take ownership of your problem areas, proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience and growth outcomes.

Communicate design rationale and trade‑offs clearly to cross‑functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing in partnership with Growth, Marketing, or Revenue teams.

Familiarity with experimentation frameworks such as A/B testing, funnel analysis, and cohort analysis.

Experience designing in‑product education, training, or enablement experiences.

Exposure to AI‑assisted, automated, or intelligent workflows.

Experience working in regulated or high‑trust environments (fintech, legal, healthcare).

About you:

4–7 years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, ownership, and measurable impact.

Experience designing for B2B or B2B2C products, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or other complex platforms.

Demonstrated experience designing for growth strategies such as onboarding, activation, retention, expansion, or monetization.

Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and iterating based on feedback, data, and constraints.

Strong interaction and visual design skills, with attention to usability and clarity.

High proficiency in Figma.

Clear and effective communicator who collaborates well with Product Managers and Engineers.

A proactive, ownership‑oriented mindset with a desire to learn and improve.
