Specialty Chemicals | Northeast U.S. | Remote We’re partnering with a rapidly growing

specialty chemicals platform

that is redefining how companies source and scale chemical development and manufacturing globally.

They are seeking a

Director, Business Development focused on new business development

to drive expansion across the

Northeast U.S., with a strong focus on New Jersey and surrounding markets.

This role is

remote , but the successful candidate will be expected to

regularly meet clients onsite across the region . The ideal candidate is based in

New Jersey or the greater Northeast corridor

and enjoys building relationships face-to-face with customers. You’ll be selling

end-to-end chemical solutions , supporting customers from

early-stage R&D through global manufacturing and supply chain execution .

This is a

true hunter role

with significant upside and the opportunity to shape regional growth across

life sciences, crop science, specialty ingredients, and industrial chemicals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive

new business development across the Northeast U.S., with primary focus on New Jersey.

Build relationships with

R&D leaders, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders

within chemical and life science companies.

Meet clients

onsite regularly across the region

to develop strong partnerships and uncover new opportunities.

Sell

full-stack solutions

including chemical development, scale‑up, contract manufacturing, and global manufacturing partnerships.

Identify opportunities with companies launching new products or scaling production.

Manage a strategic pipeline from

prospecting through deal close .

Represent the company at key

industry events, conferences, and customer meetings .

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of B2B sales experience in specialty chemicals, chemical manufacturing, or chemical distribution

Strong network within

New Jersey and Northeast chemical markets

Proven ability to

generate new business and close complex deals

Experience selling into

life sciences, specialty ingredients, crop science, or industrial chemical sectors

Comfortable selling

technical solutions to R&D and procurement stakeholders

Ability to travel locally and meet

clients onsite weekly across the region

Compensation Structure This role offers

top-tier earning potential for high-performing commercial leaders in specialty chemicals.

On‑Target Earnings (OTE):

$200K – $350K+

Commission:

Uncapped

Additional incentives may include:

performance-based bonuses

equity participation

travel and industry event budgets
