Product Director, ETF Locations Dublin, London, Essex | Hybrid

The Opportunity In this role you will define and deliver industry‑leading products for the ETFs domain within our portfolio. You will generate ideas and develop them from across the company, testing value proposition and client appetite, assessing product/market fit, and ensuring commercial viability within the Product governance process. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technology, and directly with clients, working in co‑creation sessions to understand needs and design scalable solutions. Your strategy will drive the product from ideation to in‑life management and commercial success.

What You Will Get To Do

Guide, own and communicate the feature set for your product domain against the overall product strategy and vision set by the Head of Product.

Devise new ideas and business models to position us as a disruptor to the funds and investments industry.

Seek out clients and partners for new ideas and models.

Be responsible for the commercial viability of your product domain, ensuring product‑level budgets and sales targets are set and achieved.

Collaborate with other product managers to ensure end‑to‑end vision is clear.

Represent SS&C as thought pioneers at industry events.

Show clients a clear path to adoption for all products in your domain.

Collaborate with technology and client‑facing teams to ensure delivery, adoption and success.

Aid the creation of marketing content and Go‑To‑Market plan.

Undertake regular in‑depth competitor research.

Monitor and optimise products for profitability.

Represent the Customer/Client in decision‑making.

Assist Sales in client meetings.

Carry out discovery to meet client needs.

Lead the Product staff in the ETF domain, including line management where required.

What You Will Bring

Commercial results‑oriented leadership and eye for product revenue and costs.

Experience in a Product Management role.

Track record of product delivery from ideation to launch and growth.

Sound knowledge of ETFs, their value chain, operating models and flows.

Ability to think in a disruptive way to reinvent the domain product set.

Direct experience of Agile development processes and ability to evangelise.

Stakeholder management experience with examples of influence.

Follow and suggest improvements to a disciplined product development process.

Experience of client/customer‑led product development and execution.

Excellent client‑facing and presenting skills.

Recognised communication skills – succinct, clear, direct, transparent.

Desired

P&L ownership or profitability tracking.

Experience in fintech/financial services industry.

Knowledge of the wider funds and collective investments industry.

Knowledge of ETF operating models and flows.

Knowledge of regulators and market practice working groups.

Knowledge of the wider collective investments market, particularly mutual funds.

Experience with institutional clients in the financial services sector.

Conversant with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.
