Our client is looking for a SAP Business Analyst - SD (Sales & Distribution) for their Ann Arbor, MI location. This role will sit hybrid 3 days a week.

*Open to candidates who are willing to relocate to Ann Arbor, MI.

SAP Business Analyst – SD

The IT SAP Functional – Sales & Distribution (SD) plays a key role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that meet business requirements.

The IT SAP Functional – Sales & Distribution (SD) will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate functional needs into effective SAP system solutions and ensure smooth system operations.

Key Responsibilities: Sales and Distribution

Lead and design SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with business requirements

Drive end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in S/4HANA

Configure and optimize:

Organizational structures

Customer and Business Partner master data

Sales documents, deliveries, billing, and returns

Pricing, condition techniques, and output management

Manage S/4HANA-specific innovations:

Business Partner approach

SAP Fiori apps for SD processes

Handle advanced topics:

Credit Management (FSCM)

Revenue Recognition

Intercompany and third-party sales

Order to Cash processes

Pricing and conditions techniques

Billing and FI integration

Lead integration with FI (Universal Journal), MM, EWM, and PP

Implementation & Support:

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications

Configure SAP modules according to business processes and best practices

Support SAP implementations, enhancements, and rollouts

Work with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to deliver functional solutions

Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including process flows and configuration guides

Participating in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)

Identify and resolve functional issues and provide ongoing application support

Assist in user training, change management, and knowledge transfer

Ensure solutions comply with internal controls and system standards

Support continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field

7+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP SD

Hands‑on experience in SAP SD configuration

Strong functional knowledge of order-to-cash processes

Experience with SAP IBP modules and planning concepts

Knowledge of integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA/ECC

Good understanding of master data dependencies and data quality

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA SD certification

Experience with Central Credit Management (FSCM)

Exposure to SD–EWM integration

Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects

Exposure to SAP Fiori, reports, and interfaces

Experience in global or multi‑company SAP environments

Industry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Customer‑ and solution‑oriented mindset

In the Ann Arbor office or other company facilities.

May require travel between facilities, sister companies, suppliers, and customers.

On‑call support may be required during critical periods.

Salary/Rate: $120,000 (depends on experience level).
