The Role We’re looking for a

Senior Strategist

who combines thoughtful analysis with collaborative leadership. You’ll lead in applying eatbigfish proprietary processes, consulting with clients to develop brand positioning, innovation strategy, and organisational culture that reflect challenger thinking.

You’ll take ownership of your work streams and lead end-to-end delivery on smaller client engagements, including managing internal collaboration, running workshops, and presenting to senior clients. You will also mentor junior team members and raise the bar across the strategy team with rigor and fresh thinking.

This is not a “just make the deck” role. It’s for someone who wants to challenge client thinking and lead them toward insight and change.

What You’ll Do

Develop Challenger strategies for brands of all sizes across multiple categories, extending beyond communications to bring brand to life across culture, innovation, and organizational change.

Lead some projects and support others in a project- and team-based environment.

Craft and lead in-person client workshops that challenge conventional thinking and unlock strategic potential, using eatbigfish processes, tools and IP.

Keep projects and teams on-track and on-time, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and developing capabilities to independently lead more complex programs.

Understand clients’ businesses deeply, building trust with senior stakeholders and establishing lasting relationships.

Lead or collaborate on new business proposals, partnering internally to assemble the right resources.

Mentor junior strategists and contribute to shaping the strategic culture of the business.

Bring provocations, originality, and relevance to all work.

What You Bring

5+ years of strategy, consulting or brand planning experience, ideally across multiple categories

Proven ability to own complex strategic projects and run them end-to-end

Excellent facilitation, listening, and adaptability in workshop settings

Grounding in eatbigfish IP, challenger thinking, and category disruption models

Ability to work independently with a collaborative, team-first mindset

Strong client presence and ability to command a room and shape conversations

Intellectual curiosity, commercial instinct, and clarity of thinking

Experience with audience insight, qualitative and quantitative research, and workshop facilitation

Willingness to travel to client workshops (4–5 day trips typical)

Bonus Points

Experience with brands that operate with a challenger mindset

Global perspective and/or multilingual skills, especially Spanish

Expertise in sectors such as FMCG, Alcohol, Technology, Travel, Retail, Pharma/Healthcare, Finance/Insurance, Restaurants, Energy, or Telecommunications
