A leading global financial institution is seeking a
senior risk leader
to oversee enterprise-level risk identification, measurement, and governance initiatives across its U.S. operations. This high-impact role sits at the center of the firm’s
Enterprise Risk Management framework , partnering closely with senior leadership across business lines to ensure risks are properly identified, quantified, and incorporated into firmwide stress testing and strategic planning. The position offers the opportunity to shape enterprise risk programs, lead a specialized team, and influence critical regulatory and risk management initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide methodologies for
risk identification, risk measurement, and governance frameworks
across multiple business units. Maintain and enhance the organization’s
central risk inventory , ensuring key risks are accurately categorized, assessed, and monitored across the institution. Oversee the design and execution of
hypothetical risk event scenarios
to evaluate potential impacts from emerging or significant enterprise risks. Partner with enterprise risk, finance, and business leadership to
develop and integrate stress testing scenarios
used in regulatory and internal capital planning exercises. Ensure enterprise risk insights are effectively incorporated into
firmwide stress testing and scenario analysis programs . Lead the firm’s
concentration risk monitoring framework , identifying potential exposures across operational, technology, strategic, and other non-financial risk categories. Utilize advanced analytics and internal data sources to identify
risk trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging exposures
that could impact the institution. Collaborate with senior leaders across business units, control functions, and corporate teams to ensure risks are
appropriately identified, documented, and managed . Build and manage a high-performing team responsible for supporting enterprise risk programs and key strategic initiatives. Develop executive-level reporting and governance materials used to
inform senior leadership, committees, and regulatory stakeholders
on the firm’s risk posture.
