Position Overview Focuses on personal sales targets by developing new business opportunities, troubleshooting customer problems and enhancing existing customer relationships. Contacts large sized 3PL, VAWD and Freight Forwarder customers, prospects and collaborates with other sales professionals as a transportation intermediary expert within a defined geographic territory to sell LTL services.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Achieves major account sales goals.

Plans and executions for major customer sales strategies.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience five (5) years of business-to-business sales experience required.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strong initiative, organizational skills, and adaptability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce.

Mid-level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing.

Ability to collaborate with local operations teams.

Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape.

Ability to manage time and territory effectively.

Job Conditions

Ability to travel overnight as required.

Pay Transparency While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location(s) in Saint Charles, MO, E Kansas City, MO or Edwardsville, KS.
