
Corporate Tax Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced
Corporate Tax Senior Associate
to join a dynamic public accounting tax team in Dallas. In this role, you will work closely with corporate clients on tax compliance, tax planning strategies, and income tax accounting matters.

Work Model:
Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in office or client site) Key Responsibilities
Manage corporate tax engagements from planning through completion while meeting project timelines and budgets.
Review corporate tax returns prepared by staff and identify tax planning opportunities.
Prepare and review
ASC 740 income tax provisions , including supporting documentation and audit assistance.
Conduct research on federal and state tax matters and provide technical guidance and recommendations.
Utilize tax preparation software to complete and process corporate tax returns and related filings.
Assist with responses to tax authority inquiries from federal and state agencies.
Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff and interns on tax engagements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts and collaborate with internal tax specialists.
Develop a strong understanding of client business operations and apply this knowledge to tax planning and compliance work.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Maintain strict adherence to professional standards and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting .
2–4 years of corporate tax experience , including tax compliance or consulting in a public accounting environment.
Experience preparing or reviewing
ASC 740 income tax provisions .
CPA eligible
(CPA certification preferred).
Recent experience working in a
Top 20 public accounting firm .
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a
collaborative, team-based environment .
Ability to work a
hybrid schedule
(minimum 3 days per week in office or client site).
Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Active CPA license .
Experience serving
mid-size to large corporate clients
(approximately $100M–$1B in revenue).
Public accounting experience focused on
corporate tax services .
Demonstrated stability within professional services environments.
