UX/UI Developer

Endurance IT Services is seeking a UX/UI Engineer to lead front‑end modernization for a client in the Charlotte area! This role is hands‑on, strategic, and central to shaping enterprise UI standards and user experience.

***This role requires onsite work 2 days per month***

What you'll do:

Build and modernize Angular (v21) applications using standalone components, Signals, and micro‑frontends

Integrate Angular into existing MVC systems through an incremental modernization strategy

Define front‑end standards, reusable components, and best practices

Implement secure authentication/authorization with MSAL and role‑based access

Deploy and optimize UI apps in Microsoft Azure

Improve UX across workflows and ensure alignment with brand standards

Establish front‑end testing (unit + E2E) and performance optimization practices

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Data, Marketing, and business teams

Lead code reviews, documentation, and long‑term UI architecture decisions

What We’re Looking For:

6+ years software engineering; 4 + years Angular (latest versions preferred)

Strong experience with micro‑frontend or modular UI architecture

Expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, DI, routing, and Angular standalone components

Background modernizing legacy MVC or monolithic applications

Experience with Azure deployments, MSAL auth, enterprise RBAC

Strength in performance tuning, scalable component libraries, and data‑grid solutions

Proficiency with GitHub workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD

Strong communication skills and ability to influence architecture direction
