Job Description We are currently seeking a SAP Vistex Functional Consultant to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US‑RI), United States (US).
Role:
Vistex Functional Consultant with Legacy technologies background
Need:
Immediate onboarding to support ground‑up Vistex build
Time Zone:
Align with Central Time hours
Workstream:
SAP Pricing, Rebates, Incentives (Vistex), Supply Chain Management
Summary:
A dedicated Vistex resource is required earlier due to the net‑new Vistex implementation within the client’s SAP program. This role will own the functional design, configuration, data integration, and testing of the Vistex pricing and incentive modules, while partnering with legacy host‑system teams to ensure accurate data conversion and end‑to‑end pricing alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and configuration of Vistex pricing, rebates, billbacks, and settlement components.
Facilitate workshops with pricing SMEs, SAP functional leads, and host‑system teams.
Develop functional specs for interfaces, enhancements, and data mappings.
Support data migration related to pricing master, agreements, and accruals.
Validate legacy‑to‑SAP file formats, data structures, and transformation rules.
Support SIT, UAT, and cutover preparation.
Participate in agile ceremonies and design reviews.
Required Qualifications
5+ years’ hands‑on experience with Vistex (S/4HANA), including configuration of pricing, rebates, and settlement processes.
OR: Strong pricing domain experience with demonstrated ability/willingness to learn Vistex rapidly.
5+ years of experience working with legacy host systems, ideally:
Mainframe applications
COBOL or batch‑processing environments
Flat‑file integration (fixed‑width, delimited, custom formats)
Legacy pricing or rebate engines
Strong understanding of SAP pricing, condition techniques, and master data.
Ability to interpret and map legacy data structures into SAP/Vistex equivalents.
Experience writing or reviewing functional specs for interfaces and conversions.
Excellent communication skills with comfort working across technical and business teams.
Ability to support and overlap with Eastern/Central Time hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in end‑to‑end Vistex implementations (full lifecycle).
Hands‑on knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Financial Accounting & Controlling integration points.
Background in wholesale, distribution, retail, or pricing.
Experience supporting agile delivery (sprints, backlog refinement, JIRA usage).
Familiarity with host‑system/business system environments and legacy pricing models.
Experience collaborating with offshore teams or multi‑time‑zone delivery models.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot data and pricing discrepancies.
Salary Range Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $85–$96.25/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
