Senior Marketing Manager
to join our firm-wide
Marketing Team
in our Atlanta office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who believes in the power of sustainability + health and wants to help an innovative company grow. This is an opportunity for you to be a part of a dynamic and supportive marketing team in a role focused on east coast marketing leadership. You will be helping to implement Alta’s strategic plan as well as organizational change management strategies in coordination with the Director of Marketing, West Coast Marketing Principal, and Central Marketing Principal. This position includes strategic pursuits, team management, and supporting the implementation of strategic goals.
Our practice emphasizes public sector work, including community planning, sustainable transportation, parks, trails, greenways, and other public space that create meaningful benefits for communities. We are looking for someone who is collaborative in decision making, can communicate strategic direction, and who can maintain the high-quality marketing deliverables that defines our work.
Day to Day In this role, you will work with a network of technical staff across the company to drive strategic growth and develop our business throughout the east coast. You will report to the Director of Marketing, manage marketing coordinators focused on supporting east coast goals and proposal development, and collaborate with a team of high functioning marketing managers across the country to distribute workload. You will also work closely with the West and Central Marketing Principals, Business Line Group Leads, and Business Development Leads to implement Alta’s strategic plan, manage business development tracking, lead go
o-go decision-making processes, track qualifications and on-calls for priority agencies, and lead production of strategic proposals.

Key Activities:
Creating unique and engaging client-facing technical proposal documents
Time and team workload management
Business development tracking and data management
Overall curiosity or interest in Alta’s technical work and industry
Collaboration with other leaders both in and outside of the marketing department
Proposal compliance quality control
Copy editing
Qualifications Required This position requires a combination of skills, experience and education including, but not limited to
Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, business or a related field of study.
Ten 10 or more years of experience in marketing; three (3) or more years of experience in an A&E professional services firm.
General understanding of the planning and design process.
Detailed understanding of the proposal development process for private and public agencies.
Exhibits strong initiative, ability to manage competing priorities, multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional teams and the ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent professional ethics, accountability, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and analytic skills.
Proficient in MS 360 products and Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding enterprise-wide management tools.
Experience managing and mentoring staff.
Preferred There are a number of additional skills, experience, and education that would be beneficial to this position including, but not limited to:
Master’s degree in marketing, public relations, business or a related field of study.
Experience using Deltek VantagePoint
Active participation in industry-relevant professional associations and committees.

Compensation The pay range for this job in Atlanta is
$90,000-$105,000
annually. Placement within the range is based upon experience, skill-sets, and qualifications.
Alta offers comprehensive benefits to all full-time employees:
Medical : PPO or HSA medical plans, Alta pays 75% of the cost
Dental/Vision : PPO, Alta pays 90% of the cost
Life Insurance : Alta pays 100% of the premium for life and AD&D, equal to your base compensation
