Carpenter (Restoration) - Sioux Falls, SD INTEK is seeking a skilled and versatile Restoration Carpenter to join our Sioux Falls team. We are looking for high-quality craftsmen with a proven track record in drywall, painting, framing, or finish carpentry who are ready to help our clients rebuild after fire and water damage. Essential Functions: * Work efficiently while maintaining safety standards. * Perform the full range of carpentry tasks from rough framing to high-end finish work. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently * Ensure all work is square, level, and built to last. * Safely tear out impacted/damaged materials to prepare for the rebuild. * Work confidently with wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. * Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding. * Identify fire and water damage and document scope of the impacted area. * Keep simple, accurate records of progress. * Keep the workspace clean and professional from start to finish. * Hang, tape and finish drywall. * Apply high quality paint finishes and coatings. Additional Expectations: * Willing to learn water remediation and jump in on the on-call schedule when needed. * Able to work independently and with a team. * Know your craft well enough to deliver high quality work the first time. * Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers. * Adaptable to changing priorities or job conditions. * Show initiative to move from task to task efficiently without needing to be told. * Organized and detail oriented, ensures the "little things" are done right. * Uses good judgment to solve problems when they arise. * Team player that helps with other tasks as they come up.
