Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Compensation:
$65,000 – $80,000 base

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:
Supervise daily accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Assign workloads, monitor team performance, and support deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Mentor, train, and support development of AP team members.
Review and approve complex or high-value transactions.
Oversee invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing (ACH, check, wire).
Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated discrepancies.
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure account accuracy.
Prepare AP reports, aging reports, and performance metrics.
Qualifications of the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:
1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (Sage experience is a plus).
Distribution or similar industry experience is a plus.
