Why Cora Systems Cora Systems is a high-growth Irish Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software company, Gartner Magic Quadrant recognised in 2025, and trusted by some of the world's most complex capital project organisations — including Honeywell Building Solutions (9,000+ users, 40,000+ projects across 51 countries), Genentech, Boston Scientific, and Automated Logic Corporation.

We are now investing aggressively in the US Government Contracting market. Our Cora GovCon product is purpose-built for this vertical — FedRAMP Ready, with a full Earned Value Management suite including DCMA 14-point schedule health check, IPMDAR support, and end-to-end compliance controls for DCAA audit environments. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to own and build a market.

The Role This is a hunter role. You will be Cora's primary driver of new logo acquisition in the GovCon market — building pipeline from scratch, navigating complex multi‑stakeholder deals, and closing enterprise contracts with US‑based defense primes, Tier 1 subcontractors, and federal agencies. You will be supported by Cora's US‑based BDR, technical pre‑sales, and a CRO who is deeply invested in this vertical's success.

Key Responsibilities

Own and develop a named territory or vertical within the US GovCon market, building pipeline from cold through to close

Identify and pursue large enterprise opportunities with defense primes, Tier 1 subs, and federal contractors

Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales engagements involving Program Control, PMO, Finance, IT, and C‑Suite

Articulate Cora's EVM, IPMDAR, and DCMA compliance capabilities in technically credible, outcome‑oriented conversations

Work closely with pre‑sales to deliver compelling demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept engagements

Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue in CRM (HubSpot), with rigorous deal qualification and stage hygiene

Represent Cora at NDIA, EVM World, and NCMA events to build brand presence and personal network

Feed market intelligence back to Product and Marketing to shape Cora GovCon's roadmap

What We're Looking For Must‑Have

7+ years of enterprise software sales experience with consistent quota achievement ($1M+ ARR)

Demonstrable track record selling into the US Government Contracting ecosystem — defense primes, Tier 1 subs, or federal agencies

Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), DCMA compliance, or EVMS certification processes — you don't need to be an EVM practitioner, but you need to speak the language

Experience navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder deals (6–18 month cycles) involving procurement, IT, finance, and executive sponsors

Existing network of relationships within the GovCon PMO, Program Control, or IT leadership community

US‑based, with ability to travel to customer sites and industry events

Strongly Preferred

Previous experience selling at Deltek (Cobra, PM Compass, Open Plan), Primavera/Oracle, Planisware, or EcoSys

Familiarity with IPMDAR, ANSI/EIA-748, DCAA audit environments, and FedRAMP requirements

Experience selling SaaS‑based PPM, ERP, or capital project management software

Active involvement in NDIA, NCMA, or PMI SCEA (College of Performance Management)

Background in or exposure to aerospace and defense, intelligence community, or DoD supply chain environments

What You'll Be Selling Cora GovCon is an integrated, end‑to‑end PPM solution built specifically for highly regulated contracting environments. Key capabilities include:

Full EVM suite: percentage complete, LOE, weighted milestones, fixed formula, PERT — fully compliant with ANSI/EIA-748

DCMA 14‑point schedule health check with automatically logged audit results

IPMDAR support: Contract Performance Dataset, Schedule Performance Dataset, Performance Narrative

Baseline change control with impact modelling before approval

FedRAMP Ready status — meets US federal cybersecurity standards

Native ERP integration (SAP PartnerEdge Build partner), Microsoft Teams, and AI‑ready data foundation

Monte Carlo, CPM, Discrete Event, and System Dynamics risk simulations

What You'll Get Competitive base + uncapped commission structure. Equity participation. Full benefits package.

Ground‑floor opportunity in an under‑penetrated market. You set the strategy and own the outcome.

Sell a credentialled, technically differentiated product — Gartner Magic Quadrant 2025 for Strategic Portfolio Management.

Close‑knit, high‑performance team. Direct access to CRO, pre‑sales, and product leadership. No bureaucracy.

Equal Opportunity Statement Cora Systems is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered regardless of race, gender, disability, religion, or age.
