What You’ll Do The Commercial Accounting Team is central to recognizing and reporting revenue and invoicing customers as efficiently and accurately as possible. This team supports the overall Finance function by being strategic and forward‑looking, advising on the financial impacts of different go‑to‑market strategies and contracts, and automating at a rapid pace. By partnering with other teams, the Commercial Accounting Team helps to automate processes across CoreWeave to support the AI revolution from the revenue side.

About The Role You’ll be a leader in CoreWeave’s Commercial Accounting function by leading the Revenue Accounting and Billing team in its key role of accounting for strategic, complex multi‑billion‑dollar sales contracts, coordinating with multiple teams across the company, and invoicing customers. You’ll partner with numerous teams including Technical Revenue, Revenue Operations (Sales Ops), Sales, FP&A, Product Management, Engineering, and many others to ensure accurate accounting and reporting, adapt to new products and go‑to‑market strategies, and automate processes. You will propose changes to the entire Order to Cash process and partner with the Revenue Transformation team to facilitate automation of the Commercial Accounting team’s processes as well as those of partner teams. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Accounting.

In This Role You Will

Ensure the Revenue Accounting and Billing team accounts and reports for infrastructure‑as‑a‑service, software, SaaS and other revenue correctly under ASC 606 and other standards in its 10‑K and 10‑Q filings

Collaborate with senior members of numerous other business functions to adapt to future business changes such as acquisitions, new products and new go‑to‑market strategies

Partner with the FP&A team to ensure proper forecasting of the company’s revenue

Update and evolve the Commercial Accounting Team’s accounting policies and positions in collaboration with the Technical Revenue team

Drive the Commercial Accounting Team’s internal, continuous process improvement initiatives

Foster and improve partnership with the Technical Revenue team to ensure seamless and efficient exchange of information to achieve accurate reporting results

Manage a growing team of 10+ team members

Oversee and guide the process for integrating the revenue accounting and billing processes of acquired companies

Propose and see through to completion process improvements across the Order to Cash cycle

Lead and develop the Revenue Accounting and Billing team

Perform certain SOX internal controls and ensure successful performance of controls within the Revenue Accounting and Billing team

Work with external auditors to address and close audit issues in a timely manner

Who You Are

10+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at high‑growth tech companies

6+ years within public companies

4+ years of Big 4 audit experience

Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340; knowledge of ASC 842 a plus

Deep experience evaluating sales contracts and related agreements for technical and operational revenue considerations and proposing solutions

Experience improving end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash processes

Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills

Comfortable rolling up sleeves and getting into the details

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
