We are seeking a
Director of QA Engineering & Automation
to lead and scale our QA automation function for our growing platform. This role will manage a team of 3–5 QA Automation Engineers and drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of automated testing across web (SPA) and API applications. You will play a critical leadership role in ensuring our healthcare technology products deliver a seamless, high-quality user experience while supporting continuous delivery and production excellence. Responsibilities
Define and execute the company-wide QA automation strategy Lead and mentor a team of QA Automation Engineers Oversee development of scalable automation frameworks (Java, Selenium WebDriver, BDD) Ensure comprehensive test coverage for web applications and APIs Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and external stakeholders Drive quality metrics, reporting, and production defect reduction Support release cycles and production issue analysis Experience
10+ years in software testing / quality engineering 5+ years in automation (building frameworks from scratch) 3+ years leading technical teams Strong expertise in Java (Core), Selenium WebDriver, BDD / Cucumber Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Selenium Grid, Jira Strong analytical and leadership skills Preferred
Healthcare or regulated SaaS experience
