The Account Director is a mid‑senior role that will provide oversight and management of assigned brand direct accounts, working in tandem with the VP of Business Development (sales) and client customer service team members including Account Managers, Programmatic Specialist and Social Specialists. This person is the quarterback on the account, responsible for strategy ideation, RFP responses, smooth onboarding and continued success of assigned brand‑direct clients and ensuring client satisfaction. In this role, the Account Director will provide performance analysis, optimization insights, consultation of marketing strategy, project management responsibilities and hands‑on support for client campaigns as necessary. This role will also be responsible for generating new business revenue for the company from current clients, strategic brand‑development and industry event attendance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

Responsible for the clear communication of client business goals and media goals to the team to ensure accurate setups and relevancy in reporting. Possess a clear understanding of overall campaign performance/trends and maintains the depth of analytical knowledge needed to ensure client understanding of performance to serve account health and growth.

Be your client’s champion internally to ensure their voice is heard and cross‑functional resources are aligned to how Coegi will contribute value to their business

Become thoroughly familiar with your assigned brand’s business and desired outcomes

Developing a winning digital media strategy and ensuring overall client success and satisfaction from campaigns

Provide oversight with the optimization and management of client campaigns in order to meet established KPIs and client expectations

Work seamlessly with the assigned Account Manager, Social, Search and Programmatic specialists

Serve as an additional point of contact for the client in regard to campaign strategy, analytics and ongoing optimizations, providing strategic insights and POVs that result in increased client satisfaction and business

Work with team‑members to consult assigned clients in regard to marketing technology and the use of data

Develop POVs, analytical reports and other collateral as needed to educate and inform assigned clients of industry trends

Perform new business development and generate incremental revenue from existing clients.

Represent Coegi at assigned industry events, gathering new business prospects and performing follow‑up, pitch and ultimately closing for new business revenue.

Qualifications

Must have a knowledge of programmatic, social and search media experience in a relevant, brand‑facing role such as business/account management, client service manager or media strategy

5+ years in one of the following industries: AdTech, SaaS, Consulting, Marketing (client‑side)

Must display a strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem (programmatic, social, data providers, DSP/SSP platforms, etc)

Must display excellent organization skills and adaptability to manage multiple client projects and working within a team‑oriented environment

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Must be familiar with multiple analytics and/or marketing platforms

Superior skills with computers, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and Google products (docs, sheets, etc)

Some sales experience is preferred, but not required

Bachelor's degree; concentration in marketing, statistics, business or advertising preferred, or equivalent professional experience

Travel up to 35% of the time.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
