Job Summary
Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance service solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the assigned geographic area by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance Services (OSHA/HIPAA), while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. This position is remote; however, the employee will be required to live in the Northern VA, Baltimore, or DC area based on customer support needs.
Responsibilities
Call blocks to healthcare facilities to schedule on-site appointments throughout the week to demonstrate our capabilities in Compliance. Demonstrates ability to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
Demonstrate strong prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business and sell regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA Compliance solutions by showing comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and the value proposition for customers. Result oriented with a sense of urgency.
Sell regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA Compliance to previous Stericycle customers to recover lost business by demonstrating capabilities and addressing the customers’ business needs with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Build and sustain strong, trusting relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging face-to-face experiences with a local subject matter expert and growing the business over time with additional services to meet customers’ needs. Motivated by success.
Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns to grow business in the geography by leveraging our services to meet customers’ needs.
Participate in market development activities by identifying under-developed areas/markets within the territory and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and sales through new sales initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
2 years of field/outside sales experience
Able and prepared to travel within a defined local territory daily; minimal long-distance travel required
Valid Driver License and driving record within MVR guidelines
High School diploma or equivalency (accredited)
Preferred Qualifications
– Must live and work in the US
Experience selling in a business-to-business environment with varying sales cycles and multiple decision makers is highly preferred
Experience in a high volume/high transaction industry is highly preferred
Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) is strongly desired
Experience using Salesforce or other similar CRM and SAP is an advantage but not required
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Strong prospecting and business development skills
Demonstrated expertise in initiating and managing successful B2B sales and service relationships
Strong and polished professional communication skills, negotiating abilities and excellent phone etiquette
Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and internet/social media
Results oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success
Compensation & Benefits The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $50,900 - $68,885. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by factors including relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
