Director of Sales - Northeast

Opmed.ai, Cambridge, MA, United States

Opmed.ai is building the technology engine behind smarter, more efficient healthcare operations, and we’re looking for a hunter-first Director of Sales to help scale what we believe will be healthcare’s next unicorn.

This is an individual contributor role for a proven enterprise SaaS seller who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, owning the full sales cycle, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals within hospitals and health systems across the Northeastern United States. Experience selling SaaS solutions into the Operating Room, perioperative, or procedural environment is a major advantage, as this role involves engaging deeply with perioperative leadership, surgical services, operations, and executive stakeholders.

You will be fully accountable for net-new pipeline generation, deal execution, and revenue performance. Success in this role requires a disciplined hunter mindset, comfort with outbound prospecting, and the ability to navigate long enterprise sales cycles using a structured methodology such as MEDDIPICC.

What You’ll Do:

Own and exceed an annual revenue quota

Generate the majority of your pipeline through net-new outbound prospecting

Manage the entire sales cycle from first outreach through closed-won deals

Sell into complex hospital environments with multiple decision-makers

Lead discovery, product validation, business case development, and contract negotiations

Present confidently to senior hospital and perioperative leadership

Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, and Client Success teams

Help shape go-to-market strategy as the company scales

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in healthcare SaaS sales

Proven success in hunter-led, full-cycle enterprise sales roles

Strong experience generating pipeline through outbound efforts

Familiarity with MEDDIPICC or similar enterprise sales frameworks

Experience selling into hospitals or health systems

Major plus: Experience selling into the Operating Room, perioperative, or procedural space

Strong executive presence and presentation skills

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment

Living within the Northeastern U.S. is strongly preferred to support in-person meetings and on-site hospital engagements

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Why Join Opmed.ai:

Be part of what we believe is healthcare’s next unicorn

Well-funded company with real customer deployments

High-impact role with ownership, visibility, and growth opportunity

Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and excellent benefits

Mission-driven team focused on improving how healthcare is delivered
