Overview How you can make a difference
HealthEquity is seeking a Sr Director, Retail HSA Growth to lead the expansion of individual Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) across the ACA exchange market, with a primary focus on Bronze and HSA-qualified Silver health plans. Reporting to the Head of Partner Channel Growth, this senior individual contributor role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive HSA adoption through broker- and partner-led distribution while navigating the regulatory and operational complexities of the individual market.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and execute retail HSA growth and funding strategies aligned to ACA exchange dynamics.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert on ACA regulations and HSA eligibility.
Partner with brokers, Field Marketing Organizations (FMO) and health plans to drive HSA adoption at scale.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and PCG teams to add funded HSAs.
Translate market and broker insights into actionable strategy improvements.
Establish new partnerships that will increase growth at scale.
Negotiate agreements.
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
Strong knowledge of HSAs and ACA individual health plans.
Experience driving growth through broker or partner channels.
Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
Travel Requirements Expected to travel around 25% of the time.
Compensation Structure Base salary (range noted below) plus semi‑annual commissions paid through our Sales Incentive Program (SIP).
Salary Range $116,000.00 To $156,000.00 / year
Benefits & Perks The actual compensation offer is determined based on job‑related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position is also eligible for additional sales incentive commissions, and details regarding these additional sales incentive commissions will be provided after hire. This position will further be eligible for restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:

Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations.
This role may begin with a virtual, self‑paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
