is seeking a Legal Innovation and Digital Adoption Specialist to be responsible for driving effective adoption of the Firm’s emerging technology tools, particularly AI-enabled solutions, across attorney and operations teams. This role serves as the Firm’s subject matter expert on current and upcoming AI capabilities, advising practice groups and business departments on which tools are best suited to specific workflows. The Specialist will develop and deliver training, create custom workstreams using no-code and agentic AI solutions to improve efficiency, and stay ahead of legal-technology trends to support the Firm’s commitment to excellent service for its clients.

This role sits at the intersection of legal practice, technology enablement, and process improvement. It requires excellent communication skills, comfort with experimentation, and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, attorney-friendly applications.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging training programs (live, virtual, and self-paced) on AI tools, automation platforms, and key firm technologies.

Alongside the Litigation Support and IT teams, provide one-on-one support to attorneys and administrative teams adopting new digital workflows.

Serve as the internal expert on the capabilities, limitations, and appropriate use of the Firm’s various AI tools—including generative AI platforms, legal-research AI, document automation, litigation support tools, and workflow automation technologies.

Evaluate user requests and advise on the best tool or workflow for the task.

Track feature updates, roadmap items, and other vendor technology changes that may impact utility, usability, or process design.

Develop job aids, quick-start guides, reference materials, internal videos, and microlearning modules tailored to specific practice needs.

Create and maintain a firmwide AI knowledge center, FAQs, and best-practice guides.

Develop and maintain a library of prompts for attorney reference, customized to specific firm standards and individual partner workflows, based on collaboration with various “AI ambassadors” from across the Firm. Apply comprehensive libraries to standardize and optimize the efficiency of the automation resources.

Using existing document automation resources, design logic and conditionality to handle the insertion of different inputs into documents based on pre-defined scenarios.

Work with case teams and business operations leaders to identify pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into viable technical solutions, collaborating with the CIO and Technology Solutions Engineer to design, prototype, and implement no-code automations and agentic AI workflows tailored to attorney and business operation team needs.

Document solutions and handoff processes to IT or Litigation Support teams for long-term support.

Assist in testing, validating, and iterating on AI workflows. Assist in evaluating new AI products and pilots.

Monitor developments in AI for legal practice—new commercial tools, vendor updates, and market trends.

Attend industry conferences, legal-tech events, and vendor briefings; bring back insights and recommendations.

Benchmark the firm’s adoption maturity against peer firms and propose improvements.

Partner with IT, Compliance, Litigation Support, and Professional Development teams.

Coordinate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure responsible AI usage.

Qualifications The successful candidate will have a combination of employment, educational, and life experience that demonstrates the qualities and skills below:

Education and Experience : Minimum five (5) years’ experience in business intelligence or data analysis. Legal technology experience preferred. Experience in legal, professional services, or compliance-driven industries is a plus. Ability to work across team functions and provide individualized support to attorneys and business operations.

Knowledge and Skills : Experience designing and delivering engaging training programs on AI tools and automation platforms, while providing one-on-one support to attorneys and administrative teams. Additionally, ability to serve as the internal expert on the firm's various AI tools and collaborate with various teams to develop and maintain a firmwide AI knowledge center and optimize automation resources.

Confidentiality : You demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive material and are familiar with concepts of information classification, DLP, etc. You must be able to adhere to Firm policies regarding the protection of confidential data and demonstrate sensitivity to (and good judgment in connection with) confidential attorney, personnel, and Firm matters.

Flexibility : You have the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. You are versatile and able to respond positively to shifting demands and opportunities. You are comfortable in an environment where your responsibilities may vary from day to day. You demonstrate a “no job too big, no job too small” attitude, and take a collaborative, team-focused approach to rejuggling priorities and contributing to Firm tasks.

Organization and Project Management : You are comfortable balancing tasks of varying levels of urgency and complexity and work well under pressure with tight deadlines. You are able to prioritize tasks by urgency. You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You have strong documentation and process-mapping skills.

In addition, the successful candidate will be based in New York, Los Angeles or Washington, DC and will be available to work 9:00a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Compensation:

The expected base salary for this role ranges from $135,000 - $170,000 and is dependent on experience.
