Role Overview The

Regional Strategic Sales Director (RSD)

is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for the strategic expansion and long‑term adoption of Heartflow’s portfolio. The RSD will focus on high‑level C‑suite engagement, cardiology service line optimization, and scaling Heartflow’s full suite of solutions across the region. For FY26, the immediate priority is the successful launch of PCI Navigator—Heartflow’s new pre‑procedural planning solution for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).

Responsibilities

Executive Partnership:

Manage deep, consultative relationships with C‑suite stakeholders, key clinical champions and cardiology service line leaders to align institutional priorities with Heartflow’s offering.

Portfolio Adoption:

Develop regional plan for the expansion and differentiation of the Heartflow One Platform.

Program Building:

In partnership with cardiology service line leadership, drive the CCTA program goals and deliverables. Partner with local territory teams, lead Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs) to key stakeholders and decision makers at key accounts.

PCI Navigator Launch

Initial Clinical Adoption:

In partnership with the TSM, lead the clinical introduction of PCI Navigator, identifying and activating Interventional Cardiology (IC) and key cath‑lab staff to establish CT‑guided PCI as a new pre‑procedural standard.

Workflow:

Partner with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders (Radiology, Cardiology, and IT) to develop and integrate seamless clinical pathways.

Long‑term Adoption:

Ensure cath lab is set up for success for independent use of the PCI Navigator to ensure long‑term account self‑sufficiency.

Medical Education:

Drive system‑wide medical education programs across all appropriate stakeholders.

Market Development & Influence

KOL Identification:

Work cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs to cultivate regional and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive support for the CCTA + Heartflow pathway and lead peer‑to‑peer educational initiatives.

Market Intelligence:

Gather and communicate voice‑of‑customer input and competitive intelligence to guide future product development and market strategy.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

BA/BS Degree required.

8+ years of healthcare sales experience; medical device or healthcare technology sales experience is required.

Proven track record of navigating hospital executive leadership and the C‑suite.

Demonstrated ability to launch new categories or disruptive medical technologies.

Ability to travel up to 70‑80% within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

Cath Lab Expertise:

Deep understanding of Interventional Cardiology workflows; experience with PCI, TAVR, or EVAR is highly preferred.

Clinical Proficiency:

Technical aptitude to discuss complex coronary anatomy, plaque characteristics, and physiology with specialized physicians.

Specialized Imaging Knowledge:

Prior experience with CCTA, IVUS, or OCT imaging is a plus.

Advanced Degree MBA or advanced clinical credentials (RN, RCIS, RT).

Compensation & Benefits The base salary is $150,000 with the total target compensation for this role being $330,000. Heartflow offers a robust benefits package.
