Responsibilities
Work withinterdisciplinary teams throughout the organization, as well as industry partners and standards organizations, to create specifications for a wide variety of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
Review proposals from standards organizations like JEDECand collaborate with internal teamstoidentifyissuesand align on a stance.
Prepareand presentpresentationsto clearly communicate Renesas’s positionfor external audiences.
Prepareand presentproposals from Renesas to standards organizationstorecommendnewdevicedefinitionsor changes toexistingindustry standards.
Create andmaintaininternalspecification documents.
Work closely with technical writers to generate documents and review output to ensure accuracy.
Participate inmeetings of standards organizations like JEDEC,representingand advocating forRenesas.
Qualifications
Experience with architectingmixed-signaldesigns and writing device-level or sub-system specifications
Fluencyin ASIC designmethodology, both analog and digital
Experience in theDRAM Memory industry
10+ years of direct experience in ASIC/IC design/architecture.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience working in or with JEDEC
Public speaking experience
Experience with Adobe FrameMakerand Visio/Illustrator
Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with10+ years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with15+ years of experience
