About The Role Arango is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to help clients leverage their cutting-edge data platform for AI and GenAI applications. This role involves technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and collaborating with the sales team and the global Arango community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of Arango's platform and GenAI suite.
Conduct Proof of Concepts/Technology (PoCs/PoTs) with prospects and customers.
Build functional demos for various use cases incorporating core database and GenAI capabilities.
Evangelize Arango's offerings through presentations and discussions.
Solve client technical problems with effective solutions.
Collaborate with the Sales team in the US and Europe.
Contribute to technical whitepapers, seminars, and marketing events.
Engage with the worldwide Arango community.
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years in technical sales or consulting, focusing on AI solutions, databases, data warehouses, big data, analytics, and machine learning.
Technical understanding of enterprise data and AI/ML tooling, workflows, and trends.
Experience or knowledge of vector, NoSQL, and/or distributed database systems.
Experience building and integrating LLMs, with RAG experience being a plus.
Strong Architecture skills.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Working knowledge of Graph analytics/data science algorithms and ML tasks (e.g., Node Classification, Node Similarity, Link Prediction).
Knowledge of key infrastructure stacks (AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Experience with various operating systems, cloud environments, and data storage.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of the sales process.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Graph databases or frameworks.
