Director of Reporting & Pricing – Professional Services / Law Firm Environment (Hybrid – Los Angeles)
We’re seeking a
hands-on, high-impact leader
to drive pricing strategy, financial reporting, and profitability analysis for a nationally recognized professional services firm. This is a
player-coach role : you will manage a
pricing/reporting and data team
while still being deeply involved in building, validating, and delivering reports and dashboards. What you’ll do: Lead and mentor the pricing/reporting and client/timekeeper data teams. Oversee monthly, annual, and ad hoc financial and client reporting. Ensure
accuracy across client, matter, and timekeeper systems , including rate structures and matter setups. Develop pricing proposals, RFP responses, and dashboards (Power BI / SSRS) to inform strategic decisions. Partner with Finance, Practice Leaders, and Business Development to deliver actionable insights. Who you are: Hands-on with SQL, Power BI or SSRS, and advanced Excel . Experienced with
Aderant or similar legal billing systems
(highly preferred). Have
direct team management experience —leading, mentoring, and developing staff. Comfortable operating in a
fast-paced, detail-driven, client-focused environment . Preferably have
law firm or professional services experience , particularly with pricing governance, matter-level reporting, and profitability analysis. $175k–$225k Important:
