Who You’ll Work With You’ll partner closely with our Market Reputation teams across global offices and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to expand executive reach and attract top-tier talent. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to our Paid Digital Center of Excellence (CoE), helping shape best practices and elevate performance across campaigns.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM In this temporary 6 month maternity coverage role, you’ll lead the strategy, oversight, and optimization of global paid digital marketing campaigns. You’ll step into an in-flight program, providing continuity while driving measurable impact and aligning digital strategy with business priorities. This role requires a strategic, hands‑on leader who can quickly assess, optimize, and scale campaigns in a fast‑paced, global environment.
What You’ll Do Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Ownership
Lead the strategy, oversight, and optimization of global paid digital campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, with additional execution across Display, Demandbase, Google Ads, Meta, and direct publisher partnerships
Develop campaign plans, including audience strategy and platform execution aligned to business objectives
Oversee campaign budgets, forecasting, and vendor management
Ensure strong execution standards across in-flight campaigns, stepping in to assess and optimize performance where needed
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Alignment
Serve as the paid media lead for Market Reputation and Talent Acquisition teams
Ensure strategic alignment and clear prioritization across global stakeholders
Confidently represent paid digital strategy, delivering clear recommendations and performance updates
Drive cross-regional coordination and maintain continuity across teams
Performance, Measurement & Strategic Insights
Lead cross-platform performance analysis and translate results into actionable insights
Synthesize data into clear narratives that inform investment decisions and future strategy
Reinforce best practices in measurement and reporting across campaigns
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership
Maintain strong campaign governance, workflows, and execution standards using tools such as Trello and Kapost
Mentor and support junior team members to ensure high-quality execution
Contribute to the Paid Digital Center of Excellence by reinforcing best practices and identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
About You Required Qualifications
Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent global digital campaigns end-to-end, aligning strategy, execution, and measurement to business objectives
Strong experience translating performance data into strategic recommendations and business insights
High degree of ownership with strong prioritization and decision-making skills in fast-paced, matrixed environments
Deep expertise across paid media platforms including LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Google Ads, and direct publisher partnerships
Experience managing workflows and campaign execution using project management tools (e.g., Trello, Kapost)
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to annual or multi-quarter media planning and budget forecasting
Background working in a global, matrixed organization
Exposure to brand and reputation campaigns in addition to performance marketing
Ability to quickly assess and optimize existing campaign portfolios
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week in our Chicago office.
U.S. Compensation Information Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best-in-class benefits package.
Role Some local governments in the United States require a good‑faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
In Illinois, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $109,500 – $131,500; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and skill level
Annual discretionary performance bonus
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, fully vested upon start
