Reports to: Managing Director & Chief Marketing Officer

Role Overview Creative agencies run on insight, intuition, and speed. Today, however, the number of signals shaping markets—cultural shifts, social conversations, behavioral data, economic trends, media ecosystems, and emerging technologies—is nearly overwhelming. This role is being created to turn that complexity into advantage.

Hahn is hiring a Market Researcher / Insights leader who combines strong research fundamentals with a sophisticated understanding of modern technology tools—including AI-assisted research, data synthesis, and automated insight generation.

Your job is to build faster insight cycles, deeper audience understanding, and stronger strategic foundations for creative work. You will design systems that help strategists, creatives, and account teams:

See shifts in consumer behavior earlier

Validate ideas more rigorously

Identify whitespace opportunities for clients

Translate complex data into compelling brand narratives

What You'll Do Build AI-Enabled Insight Systems

AI-assisted synthesis of market and competitive landscapes including AI-generated audience proxies

Cultural and social signal detection

Trend identification and momentum scoring

Automated research summaries and insight extraction

LLM-powered assistants that turn raw research into creative briefs

Market and category research

Social listening and sentiment analysis

Cultural trend monitoring

Survey and panel research

Qualitative interviews and ethnographic research

Media and news analysis

Client and economic datasets

Partner with Strategy, Creative & Account Teams

Work alongside brand strategists, creative directors, PR and media teams

Surface cultural tensions, emotional drivers, and behavioral contradictions

Translate discoveries into briefs, insight decks, and strategic narratives

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Research Development

Design surveys, polls, and qualitative research programs

Conduct market and competitive analyses

Support brand strategy with audience insights

Data & Technology

Use AI tools to accelerate research workflows

Develop structured data pipelines for research inputs

Build dashboards or internal knowledge systems

Insight Delivery

Generate charts and visual summaries

Translate analysis into creative inspiration

Ideal Candidate Profile Experience

5–8 years in market research, insights, strategy, analytics and statistics

5–8 years’ experience in food and beverage or energy and utility market research

At least 5 years working at a creative agency, advertising agency, PR agency
