What to Expect: Drives Results and Sales and Regional Business Performance:

Develops and executes strategic regional business plans to assure sustainable and profitable business results.

Is self‑directed in working with their sales team to meet and exceed business objectives.

Assures the sales team solves the business need of the customer, not just the sales of the product.

Collaborates with other Hologic team members and resources to achieve desired customer outcomes.

Displays business acumen and organizational astuteness.

Understands customer and company business and financial drivers to assist the sales team in developing business solutions.

Ensures the sales team is current on healthcare field, competitive products, legislation, and relevant disease states.

Builds and leverages relationships at all levels and networks internally and externally to achieve desired results.

Anticipates and navigates situational resistance within the region to new ideas or business development efforts to gain agreement/acceptance.

Influences, Negotiates and Communicates for Impact:

Asks relevant questions and listens to understand business issues and goals within the region and provides mutually beneficial business solutions.

Builds strong relationships with internal team members and external contacts based on trust and communication.

Develops, manages, and negotiates new and ongoing purchasing agreements with IDNs and GPOs in the region in conjunction with National Accounts.

Determines what is relevant to different audiences and applies it to deliver high‑impact presentations and make compelling cases.

Demonstrates Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence:

Embraces and encourages learning new skills, knowledge, and behaviors.

Works to become more self‑aware and demonstrates self‑regulation in making business and personnel decisions.

Defines business problems or opportunities and develops effective solutions based on information, facts, and evidence.

Provides insight, coaching, and development to grow direct reports to their full potential.

What We Expect: Education:

Bachelor’s degree required in a scientific, biomedical, business, or marketing discipline.

Experience:

3+ years of track record leading and managing high sales performance teams, with top 20% year‑over‑year performance weighted highly.

Knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience selling to hospitals, cancer centers, and surgeons.

Experience selling biomedical, medical devices, or imaging is a plus.

Additional Details:

Requires extensive driving during the workday; must have a valid driving license, satisfactory driving record, and a serviceable vehicle for work use.

Position requires traveling to regional accounts and medical conventions, including occasional overnight stays.

Accountable for the assigned region and other territories as directed by the manager.

Impact extends through the sales team and corporate resources to achieve customer outcomes and company goals.

Coaches and develops direct reports to ensure bench strength and groom high potentials for future career opportunities at Hologic.

Expected to properly define regional business problems and develop effective solutions with minimal support; self‑directed in meeting and exceeding business objectives within manager‑defined bounds.
