Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. Account Executives deliver exceptional service and innovative insurance solutions to clients. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and professionalism, leveraging insurance sales and marketing expertise to develop tailored solutions that maximize client value and foster long‑term relationships. You will collaborate closely with a Client Advisor to acquire and retain clients, execute the Total Client Sales Process, act as the primary point of contact, develop action plans, and suggest upgrades to grow the portfolio. Your deep understanding of commercial lines of business will identify client needs and present comprehensive insurance and fintech solutions addressing current and future risks.
Responsibilities
Building and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and prospects
Identifying new business opportunities and cross‑selling additional products and services
Consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals and revenue targets through account rounding and prospecting new business from existing clients and target groups
Conducting thorough needs assessments and delivering customized insurance and total client solutions
Negotiating terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the client lifecycle
Collecting detailed risk and underwriting information, including survey data and loss history
Developing and delivering formal proposals of insurance, detailing coverage, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information
Collaborating with Account Manager to ensure complete company submissions and account service, including claims issues
Preparing ACORD applications via the Agency Management System, reviewing loss runs, developing account narratives and claims data analytics
Securing quotes, negotiating premiums/commissions, preparing proposals and presentations
Binding coverage, preparing binders, and delegating certificates
Providing contract review and processing policy changes
Using carrier websites for rating, billing, processing changes, and loss retrieval
Meeting with clients as needed or directed by client advisor
Participating in carrier/wholesaler meetings for relationship development
Serving as technical expert, assisting insureds and department members to resolve complex issues
Requirements
Able to function independently and as part of a team
Fully competent in applying established standards with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams effectively, delegate tasks and coordinate efforts across departments
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, proper grammar, spelling and punctuation
High level of accounting or strong math skills
High degree of critical thinking, problem solving when answer not readily apparent
Attention to detail, producing outcomes with minimal errors
Ability to adapt to change in direction and priority in a fast‑paced environment
Advanced technology proficiency, including MS Office
Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic is a plus
Complies with continuing education requirements for agent licensing and professional designations
Keeps informed regarding industry information, new production, coverages and technology
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years commercial insurance experience or recognized equivalent is required
Hold and maintain appropriate state Property and Casualty Insurance License(s) or obtain within 90 days of hire date
Initiate, obtain, and maintain advanced designations such as CIC, CPCU or other relevant certifications
Hybrid Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
