International Human Resource Director

The International Human Resource Director will lead the design and execution of international HR strategies to support Global Impact’s business goals. This role focuses on scaling global operations, managing complex international compliance, and serving as a strategic partner to internal leaders and external clients.

Responsibilities

Mobility and visa oversight: Manage the end-to-end U.S. visa application process for clients in coordination with legal experts

Operational leadership: Provideexpert guidance on employee relations and benefits, and partner with Finance and Business Services tooptimizeclient delivery

Vendor and partner management: Oversee relationships withProfessional Employer Organizations (PEOs)and legal counsel to manage international payroll, benefits equity, and personnel

Global strategy and compliance: Develop HR policies that align with diverse international labor laws whilesupporting clients andmitigating organizational risk

Qualifyingforthis role means that you have at least8 yearsof progressive HR experience, specifically within global or international contexts. You have aBS in HR or a related field; GPHR or similar international certification is highly preferred. You’reproficient in HRIS systems, HR analytics, and MS Office. You havea deepknowledge of international HR strategies, the visa application process in the USA, and PEO operations. You have a proven ability to manage relationships, foster cross-cultural collaboration, provide HR counsel, and mitigate risk.

Working at Global Impact This is a full-time, hybridpositionbasedin our Washington, DC location. This role requires at least 1 day in the office per week and more as needed.Visa sponsorship is not available.

The salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 depending on the experience you bring. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering,you’llreceive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off. We provide an excellent benefits plan including parental leave, medical, dental,short-termand long-term disability, and a robust 401K program.
