Position Overview Norton Packaging is seeking a Senior Territory Sales Manager to support and grow customer relationships across the eastern United States, with a strong emphasis on national and regional accounts.
This role is responsible for owning and growing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring continuity across key accounts, while partnering closely with our Hamlet, Indiana manufacturing facility.
This is a remote, field-based position with significant travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an established portfolio of industrial and manufacturing customers
Develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for key national and regional accounts
Travel regularly to customer sites to maintain relationships and identify growth opportunities
Partner closely with Norton’s Hamlet, IN plant to support operational alignment and customer success
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
Participate in industry trade shows and customer-facing events
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
Achieve territory revenue goals and contribute to overall company growth
Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing sales
Proven success managing an outside sales territory
Experience working with national or multi-location accounts preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a remote sales environment
Willingness to travel approximately 50–60%
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
