The Staff Pad is partnering with a global hospitality organization to hire a
Leisure Travel Sales Manager
focused on building and growing relationships with travel advisors, agencies, and wholesale partners across the Midwest.
This is a
relationship-driven, territory-based sales role —ideal for someone with a background in hotel or travel industry sales who understands how to influence booking behavior and drive revenue through agency partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a Midwest territory, driving revenue across a portfolio of resort and all-inclusive properties.
Build strong relationships with:
Luxury travel advisors
Wholesale partners
Influencing where advisors place their business and increasing room night production
Conducting in‑person and virtual sales calls, trainings, and presentations
Planning and attending industry events, client meetings, and networking functions
Partnering with wholesalers on joint sales efforts, trainings, and regional initiatives
Developing tailored strategies for key accounts based on performance and opportunity
Tracking activity, engagement, and results within CRM tools.
What We’re Looking For 3–7+ years of experience in:
Travel industry sales
Leisure or wholesale travel partnerships
Experience working with travel advisors, agencies, or consortia strongly preferred
Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence without direct authority
Comfortable presenting to groups and leading trainings
Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and adjust strategy
Highly organized and self‑motivated with strong follow‑through
Willingness to travel ~30–50% across the Midwest

Increased engagement with travel advisors and agency partners
Strong, long‑term relationships that drive consistent business
Strategic use of data to prioritize high‑impact accounts

Must be based in or near

Regular regional travel, with occasional broader travel as needed
