Idea Booth is a Chicago-based digital marketing agency located in the West Loop. Founded in 2009, we specialize in working with consumer packaged goods, food, and restaurant brands. Our team works closely with clients to develop creative campaigns across social media, video, email, outdoor and in-store marketing channels.

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships and manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of their client’s accounts across various digital marketing platforms, including social media, web, and email. This person collaborates with all teams to bring creative content to life.

Responsibilities:

This role blends account management and brand strategy. The account management portion of the role requires strong communication, time management, and organizational skills to manage client relationships and projects. The brand management component involves leading creative campaign ideation, video production, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels.

This role reports to the Managing Director of the agency.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, leading status calls, managing communications, tracking project tasks, and building strong, trusted client relationships.

Manage tasks for your assigned team including a videographer, designer, and web developer, ensuring that task requirements are understood clearly by each team member.

Manage marketing campaigns, ensuring tasks are being completed on time and with excellence.

Ideate and create monthly marketing content plans for client(s) including for social media, copy, email, SMS, loyalty, and in-store.

Present client with monthly content plans and work with clients to align on campaign strategies.

Lead production of video, design, photography both in our studio and on-site with client.

Track and prepare social media, email, and other marketing channel analytics.

Schedule social media posts, emails, SMS, and additional marketing campaigns for launch.

Monitor client social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and reviews while fostering positive engagement with audiences.

Support Managing Director in ideating strategic marketing and business goals for client(s).

Forge a positive and trusting relationship with client(s).

Main tools we use: Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, YouTube Studio, TikTok for Business, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Harvest, Slack

Ideal Candidate & Required Skills:

Excellent communication, time management, and task management skills.

Experience managing brand accounts across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest using each platform’s native business tools.

Video production – not video editing or any technical work, but working with videographer(s) and client(s) on site to ensure creative direction is followed.

Email marketing experience: native platforms and traditional (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc)

Someone kind, reasonable, positive, smart, and a pleasure to work with.

This role is ideal for anyone who has up to 4-5 years of experience in digital marketing, at an agency, or relevant experience, in a client facing role. Applications with fewer or more years of experience will also be considered.

Autonomy – While the role/our agency works on a hybrid model, approximately 70% of the time is WFH for this role, so it’s important that the person coming into this role is able to manage and motivate themselves.

Is an organized person and understands how to manage their time.

Has a positive mentality for problem-solving and a positive attitude generally.

Willingness to learn from managers at first, and then after a period of time of training, be able to lead client accounts and drive decision making for what is best for the client’s business goals.

Ability to share their own ideas and suggestions for how processes and client-related deliverables can be improved.

Copywriting skills, interest, or experience.

Bonus: Interest/experience in video reel production for food, recipes, consumer packaged goods products.

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 (DOE)

This is a full-time, salaried position
