Y ou’ll collaborate with a dynamic marketing team and gain hands‑on experience designing materials that bring our brand to life across digital, print, and experiential platforms.

What You’ll Do As a Graphic Design Intern, you’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and writers to create high‑impact visual content. You'll be involved in projects from concept to execution, building your skills in

branding, digital design, and visual storytelling .

Key Responsibilities

Design & Production:

Create digital and print graphics including infographics, social media visuals, presentations, email assets, and event collateral—all in alignment with Minitab’s brand standards.

Brand Storytelling:

Assist in visualizing brand messaging across campaigns, helping to tell compelling stories through design.

Web & UI/UX Support:

Collaborate on wireframes, prototypes, and design elements for web projects.

Creative Collaboration:

Work alongside copywriters and marketers to ensure consistent and engaging visual/written messaging.

Digital Marketing:

Edit and build marketing emails in platforms like

HubSpot

and

Marketo ; assist with web content updates via

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) .

Design Tools:

Work daily in

Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva , and

Miro

to develop and refine creative assets.

AI Exploration:

Experiment with generative AI tools to support ideation and rapid prototyping.

Creative Support:

Contribute to brainstorming sessions, organize final assets, and bring new ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a motivated, creative individual with a passion for design and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Senior or rising senior pursuing a degree in

Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interaction Design , or a related field.

A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, conceptual thinking, and a solid grasp of visual design principles.

Proficiency in

Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) ,

Figma ,

Canva , and

Miro .

Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, AEM) is a plus.

Basic copywriting, messaging, or content strategy experience is a bonus.

Preferred Skills

A passion for

visual storytelling , branding, and communication design.

Understanding of

UX/UI principles

and

accessibility standards .

Exposure to

motion graphics ,

basic HTML/CSS , or interactive media is a bonus.

This is an onsite or hybrid position at our Chicago office and remote work is not an option.

Pursuant to the Illinois pay transparency laws, Minitab is posting the hourly compensation for this position. At the time of posting, the Illinois payrate is $18.00/hr.
