Position Overview
Program Management Staff for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program, based in Huntsville, AL; Sunnyvale, CA; or Arlington, TX. This role leads acquisition and proposal activities with a focus on commercial supply‑chain solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead THAAD acquisition and proposal development for future contracts, including the FMS, ACD, TPSC, and Production programs.
Coordinate technical and schedule requirements with Lockheed Martin subject matter experts.
Develop Program Management Estimates (PMEs), Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs), and proposal documents.
Support contract negotiations and manage the complete acquisition life cycle.
Represent Lockheed Martin to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Maintain and improve acquisition processes and the overall proposal strategy.
Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Experience as an interface or representative to internal and/or external customers/stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience presenting to directors and/or higher-level executives.
US citizenship; eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Experience with CBOMs/PBOMs, IPLs, and the RFP process.
Background in project management, finance, systems engineering, or new‑business development.
Strong organization, analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Track record of meeting objectives and executing on commitments.
Ability to manage escalations and communicate with stakeholders and executive staff.
Experience with invoicing, billing, funding processes in prime and subcontract environments.
Experience with IDIQ contracts.
Familiarity with THAAD weapon‑system elements, capabilities, and CONOPS.
Supply‑chain experience, especially in Space BA or MFC BA roles.
Willingness to travel as needed.
