
Technical Curriculum Designer - Robotics Manufacturing

We are hiring a Technical Curriculum Designer with hands on exposure to industrial electrical, controls, and mechanical systems to design scalable training programs for advanced manufacturing environments. This role focuses on translating real world equipment and troubleshooting processes into structured digital and instructor led learning solutions.
Remote • 3-6 Months Contract • M-F, 40hrs/week
Core Responsibilities
Design and build modular technical training programs for industrial maintenance and controls
Develop interactive eLearning using Articulate 360 and deploy within an LMS environment
Create instructor guides, lab manuals, troubleshooting exercises, and performance assessments
Translate PLC logic, instrumentation, and electrical systems into step-by-step learning modules
Develop visual aids and technical diagrams for complex mechanical and fluid systems
Maintain curriculum version control and update content based on industry standards
Technical Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in technical instructional design or industrial training development
1 to 3 years of exposure to advanced manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments
Working knowledge of PLCs, industrial electrical systems, and instrumentation
Familiarity with HVAC systems, pumps, VFDs, hydronic loops, conveyors, generators, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Experience with eLearning technologies - ideally with Articulate 360 and Canvas or other eLearning LMS platforms.
Understanding of industrial safety standards such as OSHA or NFPA 70E
Preferred
Industry 4.0 or smart automation exposure
SCORM or xAPI content development
Industrial certifications or maintenance credentials
