About the Role A leading global investment management firm is seeking a
Funds Paralegal
to join its in‑house legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and business partners on a broad range of matters related to registered funds, private funds, and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of documentation for registered investment companies and private funds.
Support periodic regulatory filings, including Form N‑1A, N‑2, N‑CSR, N‑PORT, N‑CEN, ADV updates, and related materials.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and service providers (administrators, auditors, trustees, advisors).
Maintain corporate records, board materials, resolutions, and other governance documents.
Support fund launches, reorganizations, and ongoing product‑management tasks.
Conduct legal research and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant paralegal experience
within asset management, funds practice groups at law firms, or financial services companies.
Strong understanding of the Investment Company Act, securities filings, and fund governance (preferred but not required).
Excellent writing, organizational, and project‑management skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems is a plus.
