Director, People Operations — Intercare Therapy, Phoenix, AZ (hybrid). The Role

Drive high-impact people strategies for exceptional team experiences. As Director of People Operations, you will lead the employee journey for 1500+ team members across multiple states including California, shaping culture and ensuring seamless operations in a fast-growing behavioral health organization. Design systems and programs that support our mission and create an outstanding team member experience. Key Responsibilities

Total Rewards: Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a competitive industry. People Tech Stack/HCM/AI: Manage and optimize HR systems (e.g., ADP, Lattice, UKG) to streamline processes, enable data-driven decisions, and improve user experiences; enable AI tools to improve impact. Talent Management: Lead performance management, learning & development, and succession planning to build high-performing teams aligned with growth goals. Business Partnership: Serve as a strategic HR partner to leaders across operations, clinical, and support functions, providing insights on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational development. Team Member Experience: Champion initiatives that drive engagement, impact, and well-being, reflecting our commitment to exceptional care for our people and clients. Collaborate cross-functionally to scale People and Culture operations while innovating in a mission-aligned way. This role offers high-visibility projects with direct influence and impact on our organization’s success, with tangible outcomes in the lives of our team, clients, and communities. What We're Looking For

7+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations Expertise in Total Rewards including compensation and benefits design, job leveling/architecture, incentive design and ongoing administration Tech savviness with HCM systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Lattice or similar) and AI enablement skills Data analytics and insights Leadership development including high feedback, player/coach, and competency development Talent management design including career mapping and workforce management strategies Strategic, hands-on Human Resources Business Partnership with coaching, employee relations, and conflict resolution Proven track record of enhancing employee experiences in dynamic, growth-oriented environments Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, empathetic approach—thriving in a culture that values heart, innovation, and partnership Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred Passion for our mission and our People Why Intercare Therapy
